So many signs of the coming of the Day of Resurrection are explained by Rasulullah SAW which has been written by the scholars' in their hadiths. To know that the news about the coming of the Day of Judgment was conveyed by the Prophet Muhammad SAW 1400 years ago, why was this reported by him? The answer is so that humans can prepare themselves in the face of a very devastating event.
For Muslims, of course, so that their faith and worship will increase and for non-Muslims, they will soon be aware of and then immediately convert to Islam because the last religion blessed by Allah at the end of time is Islam and other religions after the arrival of a new religion. the other religions become invalidated if they are analogous to currencies, the old money will be canceled (not accepted by people when used for shopping) because after the bank issues new money the old money is no longer used even though the price value the nominal currency is the same.
The same is true of religion, even though there is a religion that says there is a religion whose age is more senior than Islam, but if the religion of Islam has come then that religion will be invalidated (no longer accepted by God).
Islam is the last religion as a perfection of the divine religions revealed by Allah and the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the last Prophet with no Prophet who is recognized by Allah after him.
If we are about honesty and moral highness, then he is the person and this is recognized by all Muslims or non-Muslims, so don't be surprised if there are figures like Michael Hart writing in his book that the name of the Prophet Muhammad was placed first among the 100 most influential figures in the world. For this reason, if he explains about the events about the signs of the coming of the Day of Judgment, that must be true because one of the things that is not in the Prophet's self is that he cannot lie, what he said must be true including about information before the occurrence of doomsday and after the occurrence of doomsday he has completely delivered it and it must be true.
Among the signs of doomsday are many, but this is divided into two, namely small signs and large signs. Here I do not write down all of the signs because if there are a lot of small signs, many things have happened up to this point. In conclusion I will write a hadith or sayings of the Prophet Muhammad in which contained ten definite signs because based on the correct history (saheeh).
The authentic hadith related to doomsday (as-sāʽah) are definitely the hadith narrated by Imam Muslim in his Sahih and also narrated by some narrators of the hadith and recognized by the scholars is the following hadith.
It means, "From Hudzaifah bin Asid Al Ghifari said, Rasulullah SAW approached us when we were talking about something. He asked, 'What are you talking about?' We answered, 'We are talking about doomsday.' He said, 'Doomsday did not occur so you saw the ten signs before.' The Messenger of Allah called fog, the Antichrist, animals (ad-dābbah), the rising the sun from the west, the fall of Isa bin Maryam AS, Gog and Magog, three eclipses; eclipse in the east, eclipse in the west and eclipse in the Arabian peninsula and finally fire arose from Yemen to lead people to their assembly, "
(See Abul Husain Muslim bin Hajjaj bin Muslim An-Naisaburi, Al-Jāmi'us Ṣaḥīḥ, [Beirut , Dārul Afaq Al-Jadidah: without years], juz VIII, page 178). The signs of doom in this hadith are called the signs of the Doomsday Kubra (the last day). There are ten signs of doom that are mentioned in this hadith.
But there are only eight mentioned in the hadith:
First, the appearance of fog (dukhan)Second, the appearance of the Antichrist
Third, the emergence of the Dabbah
Fourth, the rising sun from the west.
Fifth, the Exit of Gog and Magog
Sixth, the emergence of Isa bin Maryam;
Seventh, There are three eclipses, in the east;
Eighth, eclipse in the west;
Ninth, the eclipse in the Arabian peninsula.
Tenth, the fire that emerged from Yemen then led people to a gathering place.
